YES! Children are expensive aren’t they? Well, you can try craigslist.com or freecycle.org. Freecycle would probably be a good start since everything offered is FREE you just have to be able to pick up the items.. If you are getting RID of things it’s also good to OFFER so you don’t appear “greedy” by the other members…. I’ve given away lots of baby apparell and gear on this site. You simply go to your general area and see what cities, are listed just be sure you CAN arrange and stick to a pick-up or you will be blocked by other members.. If you going to use formula to make your money or WIC or whatever go further get on the mailing lists for SIMILAC, ENFAMIL, NESTLE GOOD START etc… NOW you will recieve FREE samples, coupon/checks that you can use to buy formula… Ditto for diapers… Join the websites to get coupons.. It will stretch your dollar a bit… The formula coupons/checks you don’t use you can FREECYCLE I joined the sites but, nursed both my children so I would give-away cans of formula to members all the time….
Also, look at your community churches to look for baby bonanza sales in your area… They are usually held at churches, schools and other large venues 3-4 times a year and you can get GREAT finds for little money.. Also, try estate and garage sales..

Try craigslist.org..or type in a search engine “online yard sales in (put your city)..things are always cheap on those sites.

Go to garage sales. Look in the newspapers and see who is advertising baby stuff. Good luck!

Go to goodwill or discount stores that have nothing but used cloths. When I had no job and didn’t have much money saved up that’s where I went. The clothes are better than nothing.

have you looked on ebay? it’s awesome
or thrift stores in your town are another good resource. lots of good stuff at the goodwill or salvation army!!

Garage sale season is starting, so go hunting. You can find some really good deals, and it is a good way to get some exercise while pregnant

Yard sales are perfect for cheap stuff, and most of it is in good condition.
Try Ebay, sometimes you can find great deals!
Craigslist also is good.

See if there is a local Free-cycle group in your area. Just post what you are in need of. No $$ exchanged–hence the “Free” part of the name. You may also want to check the yellow pages for pregnancy counseling–they can usually offer assistance on getting items for you. Good luck!
